Jo Ann Powers, age 83, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at her residence in Dallas, Georgia. Jo Ann worked as a bookkeeper for Mayo Chemical Co. for more than 25 years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters Aimee Pittard and her husband Tommy and Stacy Koyashiki and her husband Makoto and grandchildren Daniel Pittard and his wife Leslie and Timothy Pittard. She was preceded in death by her husband Abraham A. Powers in 1995. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Little River United Methodist Church in Woodstock, Georgia. The Reverend Dr. Gale L. Seibert will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Little River United Methodist Church Cemetery.
