Joan Marie Talton, age 63, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Joan was a 1963 graduate of O'Keefe High School. She retired from RMIC in 2008. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William C Talton, Jr., son Chris Lowe, daughter Denise Leon, two grandchildren, Christopher Talton and Viviana Leon, and her sister Pat Hughes. Joan's funeral service is scheduled for Saturday June 18, 2011 at 1:30 PM in the chapel of the Woodstock Funeral Home located at 8855 Main Street in Woodstock, Georgia There will be a two hour viewing prior to the service, starting at 11:30 AM. Graveside service will be at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens located at 4355 Highway 92 in Acworth, Georgia
