John Steen Mullen

John S. Mullen, age 85, passed away January 4, 2012 at his residence in Canton, GA. John proudly served his country in the US Army during WWll. He later retired from AT&T after more than forty years of service.He is survived by his loving wife Connie Mullen of Canton, daughter, Eillene Kirk and her husband Jim of Woodstock, son, John S. Mullen, Jr. of Canton, grandchildren Tara Maurer, Andrew Barker, Amy Coleman, Kristen Kirk and James Kirk, great-grandchildren Erin Maurer, Katherine Maurer, Devon Margado, Madeline Coleman and Cailyn Coleman. John was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Spell. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, Rev. Brad Greene officiating. The family will receive friends TODAY January 6, 2012 from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home. The interment will be Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Condolences may be offered at www.woodstockfuneralhome.com.
