John "Mitch" Mitchell Ransom

Mitch was a man who loved Jesus deeply, and his faith was at the heart of who he was. He found strength, comfort, and hope in his relationship with the Lord and lived his life with the belief that this world is not the end, but a journey toward his eternal home. Though his loved ones grieve his passing, they find comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Savior he loved so deeply.

One of Mitch’s greatest joys was his family, especially his grandbabies. Their smiles, laughter, and time together brought him immeasurable happiness, joy, and purpose. He treasured every moment with them, and the memories they made together will be carried in their hearts for generations to come.

Mitch also had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether enjoying the beauty of nature, spending time outside, or simply taking in the peace and quiet, he felt most at home surrounded by God’s creation. He appreciated the simple blessings of life and found joy in the moments that mattered most.

He will be remembered for his unwavering love for Jesus, his devotion to his family, his joy in being a grandfather, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the love and memories he shared with those around him.

Mitch was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jeremiah Lee Ransom; his mother, Opal Ransom; and his father, John Elbert Ransom.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Autumn Bingham; his grandchildren, Kynlee Freeman, Maxx Lee Ransom, Kyndall Caldwell, Lexi Caldwell, Gunner Caldwell, and Emery Caldwell; his sister, Jan Hildebrandt; and his brother, Kirk Ransom, along with many extended family members and friends who were blessed to know and love him.

Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we are grateful for the time we were blessed to have with him. We find comfort knowing that Mitch is now home with his Savior, and that one day we will see him again. His love, his faith, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Until we meet again Papa, we will carry your love, your lessons, your laughter, and your faith with us. We love you.
