OBITUARY

Joseph A Ochs

Mr. Joseph A Ochs, 77, of Woodstock, GA passed away September 7, 2019. Joe was born on October 3, 1941 to the late Helen and Joseph Ochs. After graduating from Hull High School, Joe attended The Wentworth Institute and then graduated from The Franklin Institute of Technology. Joe was a savvy businessman and enjoyed a successful career as a general contractor in the Boston area. Some of his many hobbies included golfing, listening to classical music, driving his Porsche, skiing and writing poetry. He was also a history buff. Joe will be remembered for his quick wit and ability to come up with the best puns. He was a loving and faithful husband, and doting father and grandfather. Joe leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 wonderful years, Kathleen; sons, Michael Ochs (Monica) and Gregory Ochs (Julie); daughter, Julieanne Wyatt (Dan); grandchildren, Joshua, Garrett, Aiden, Samantha and Amie; brother, Robert; and sister, Helen. A service to celebrate Joe’s life will be on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Joe to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.

Uncle Joe always had a ready smile and joke. Always loved his wonderfully heavy n'otheastern accent....great memories driving in back of his station wagon with the cousins!!
