Joyce Ellen Beaver

Joyce Ellen Beaver, 64, of Canton, Ga, passed away peacefully in her home on November 6th, 2022. She was born in Kingston, TN, to the late Ray and Charlotte Ware. She graduated from Roane County High School and went on to earn an Associate of Science in Medical Records Technology from Roane State Community College before going on to work both in Risk Management and Project Engineering roles for various companies.

In 1983, Joyce married the love of her life, Sam. They were married for 38 years and had two children, Lori and Charlie. She was a selfless and dedicated wife and mother. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she adored her beloved boxer, Bruiser. Joyce was a light in the lives of those who loved her and will be remembered fondly. She enjoyed tennis, golf, spending time with her friends and family, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Lori Nichols and her husband Marc Nichols; her son, Charlie Beaver; her three grandsons, Thurston Nichols, Charleston Nichols, and Weston Nichols; her brother James Butch Ware; her brother Jerry Ware; and her sister, Janet Smith.

Services will be held Saturday, November 19th at 2 pm in the Poole Funeral Home Chapel 1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189. The service will be immediately followed by a "Celebration of Life" reception nearby.

There will be a graveside service held Sunday, November 20th at 2pm at the Kingston Memorial Gardens184 Oak Dr, Kingston, TN 37763.
