Judith was a woman who truly never met a stranger. She led with a warm smile, a kind heart, and a spirit that made everyone feel welcome. Her beauty shone both inside and out, so much so that her daughters lovingly called her “The OG Fancy Face.” She cherished her family deeply, and her greatest joy came from time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as “Grandma” and “Honey.”
She had a love for life’s simple pleasures, including her favorite chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream, and she created lasting memories with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love.
Judith is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Clyde Birdsong II; her daughters, Marlene Hamm, Charee (Mark) Metts, Dyan Hurtley, and Cynthia (Tim) Church; and extended children, Rhonda, Mica (Michael), Todd (Jen) Birdsong, Jessica (Tim) Jenkins, and Christopher (Jenny) Birdsong.
She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, Krystle, Tyson, Jared, Jordan, Taylor, Jennifer, Joshlyn, Julian, Madison, as well as Stella, Brendan, Alexandra, Tristen, Cash, Cobin, and Ashton. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Faith, Elijah, David, Ava, Sophie, James, and Jackson all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy in her life.
A celebration of Judith’s life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Unity North Church, 4255 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in her honor.
Judith’s legacy of love, kindness, and connection will live on in all who knew and loved her.
