Judith Ann Brooks

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Judy Brooks at the age of 84, of Acworth, Georgia, who passed away on November 5, 2025.

Judy was born on April 14, 1941 in Peoria, IL to Fred and Betty Gerber. She married Glenn Brooks on December 28, 1979, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

She was known for her beautiful smile, loving nature, and devoted her life to her family and career. She loved fiercely, loved to spend time with family, traveling, loving her cats, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked with the University System for over 30 years. Her warmth and compassion touched everyone who knew her.

Judy is survived by a brother, Rick Gerber, daughters Sylvia Melotte and husband Jim Melotte, Jackie Grau, Kathi Mullins and husband Don Mullins, Jeff Brooks and wife Melissa Brooks, David Brooks and wife Cindy Brooks, 12 grandchildren: Jessica Clark, Brandon Brooks and wife Amber Brooks, Chris Burch and wife Amber Burch, Justin Melotte, Ashley Orbann and husband Nick Orbann, Kristen Brooks, Kelli White and husband Corbit White, Samantha Mitchell, Nick Melotte, and 12 great grandchildren, Trinity Rae, Elliott, Ruby, Hayden, Rylan, Ian, Ellie Jo, Oliver, Lucas, Louis, Olivia, Helen. Judy was preceded in death by husband, Glenn Brooks, son, Craig Davidson and granddaughter, Taylor Brooks. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
