Karen was born on December 26, 1969 in Los Angeles, CA. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from UC Davis. After meeting Brian Glover, she moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where she earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Chattanooga State Technical College. After marrying Brian in Los Angeles, they moved to the Atlanta area, where she continued her education and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Kennesaw State University. She made an impact on many lives, professionally, while serving as a Registered Nurse for 22 years, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and, for the past six years, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Karen was very nurturing and always cared about helping people. She poured all her energy and creativity into her children. She touched many lives through her volunteer activities and, with her husband, she took various leadership roles in the Atlanta Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, and as a troop leader for her local Girl Scout Troop in Woodstock. She loved being a wife, mother, friend, and nurse. All who knew her will miss her kind spirit, easy laugh, and compassion.
Left to cherish Karen’s memory are her beloved husband of 22 years, C. Brian Glover; children, Kaitlyn Alexandra Dulnuan Glover and Sean Charles Dulnuan Glover; parents, Manuel B. and Norma N. Dulnuan; brothers, Gilbert and Denis Dulnuan; and her sister, Jodie “Joy” Dulnuan Rioux. Her brother, Arthur Dulnuan, preceded her in death in 1993.
