

She was born on July 9,1942 in Carmel, NY. Kathi resided in Peekskill, NY until 1988 when she moved to GA.
She retired from the U.S Postal Service after 30+ years. Kathi was actively involved in her Catholic faith and spent many decades supporting those in the Al-Anon program. Once retired, she spent her time enjoying family, cooking, and gardening.
Kathi is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Nona Cassano, and loving husband James “Jim” McCormack, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Debi (Tim) Borgelt, sons Tim (Roberta) and Howie (Kelly), 19 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Manor Lake of Cartersville and The Cottages at Rockmart for the care and compassion that they showed our loved one in her final days.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel in Woodstock, GA on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 2:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation in Kathi’s name to the Chattahoochee Nature Center using the link below. Donations will go toward a bench in her memory. The family welcomes anyone to visit and enjoy the butterfly gardens in honor of her life.
