Working tirelessly many jobs over the next few years, Ken and Cher maintained two things, their undeniable love for each other and their conviction to be a loving supportive family. Ken continued to strive for a better future for the family and eventually found his way to success working for Southern Bell. He attained a promotion which brought the family to Atlanta for a better opportunities. Mollie made this move with the family. Over the next decades Ken would go on to have accolades and accomplishments such as continuing his education and receiving his MBA at Kennesaw State. He also became a project manager for Cox Communications.
Among his favorite past times were family vacations, traveling, golf outings and supporting local sports teams. He also had a deep love of music. He was witty with a brilliant Scottish sense of humor and told fantastic stories that left everyone in stitches.
