Kim’s life was centered around her deep Christian faith. She was a woman of prayer, faithfully lifting up her family, friends, and loved ones in prayer every day. Her unwavering belief in God provides comfort and strength to those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A retired nurse with 41 years of service, Kim dedicated her career to caring for others. Her compassion and expertise earned her the respect and admiration of both patients and colleagues. Kim was also a mentor to many in the nursing field, always offering guidance, encouragement, and wisdom to those following in her footsteps.
Kim’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved relaxing by the pool, traveling with her beloved husband Kent, and exploring new beaches and islands through cruising. Together with their two poodles, Truvy and Weazer, they created countless memories on adventures near and far.
She is survived by her loving husband Kent Brummeler; children Josh Brummeler (Alisha), Scotty Brummeler (Jade), and Claire Brummeler (Becca); and her treasured grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
In honor of Kim’s love for dogs, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mostly Mutts in Kennesaw, GA, an organization she supported with all her heart.
