Kyle,
I don’t know where to begin. I hope you know how much I love you and how much you meant to me. I will never forget the endless inside jokes and funny moments we shared together. I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend. I wish you knew how much you helped me. I cannot wait for the day I get to see you again. Anyone that knew you knows that you were a genuine, good man. I miss you, and I love you forever Nayber.

Your family and friends were so touched by you and your presence. You had an infectious laugh that always made those around you smile and a heart so full of love that made strangers feel welcomed. While the times I spent with you were limited, they were always filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. As the only little sister that always tagged along with the boys, I got an inside look on the crazy fun life you all lived together. Whether it was stealing an abandoned kitten at the lake house or running down the street in the snow just to jump in the pool half naked, you always had a way of making me laugh. Your kind soul had the biggest impact on my brother and his friends that I know they wouldn't trade for anything. I am so grateful to have known you in this life and to have seen the way you changed other people for the better. Party it up with God, Kyle. I love you.

I am so deeply saddened to hear the news of Kyle passing. When I heard the news I thought back to the time when Kyle, Caden, and I were young. Playing in the creek,  sliding down the stairs in sleeping bags, and the trips to the lake. Kyle had such an infectious laugh and smile. It breaks my heart to know he’s gone. You were my favorite co-worker. I will never forget all the Gehring basement parties, our late night chats, and pushing you around in shopping carts after work. I’m not even sure there are words that could ever do your memory justice or that could portray how thoughtful, genuine, funny, and loving you were. I am so blessed to have been able to know and grow close to you. There was not a person who made me laugh the way you did or a room as full as love as one you were in. The world was brightened by your being part of it and my life was changed for the better from our friendship. Every person you knew felt your love so strong and was so lucky to get experience the warmth you radiated. You will be deeply missed, cherished, and celebrated and I’m not sure anyone could ever forget the memories you left us with or what it was like to be in your company. You had a way of making every day a good day and making everyone feel special and no one had humor like you. Young at heart, fearless, heart of gold, and unforgettable.

I am so grateful you were able to come on this most recent beach trip with us. You were always the life of the party and touched the lives of so many people. I will always cherish our late night talks, sharing drinks in the hot tub, and you playing couples counselor for me and Trevor. There isn’t a moment that went by that you weren’t making someone smile. Thank you for being a best friend and a brother to two of the most important boys in my life. You would have made the greatest best man. I promise I’ll try to stop “buggin” so much. Love and miss you buddy.

When you came to Family Christian School we all became fast friends! From hanging out after school, motorcycle riding or watching the fireworks. No matter how much time passed, it was like we were never apart. We always enjoyed our time together and catching up. You had an infectious smile and personality! You and Connor always had fun together. He will miss hearing from you. We were deeply saddened to hear you are gone. But you will never be forgotten. Our hearts are broken for your family, we know they are missing you terribly. We DO know we will all see you again. We love you Kyle!

Thank you for being such a beautiful light in my life. You knew how to make anybody feel like they were on top of the world. I’m so glad I got to experience life the way I did with you in a relationship and just being bestfriends. I will forever remember our perfect memories. I can’t wait to see you again buddy. I’m so incredibly blessed to have known you and to have spent summer days with you and our “tween club.” You never failed to make us laugh, you had the most memorable personality ever and I will never forget the laughs we all shared at your bonfires while burning random things and blowing up coke bottles with mentos in the cul de sac. You had such a kind heart and our long conversations about The Lord will be something I’ll never forget.  Thank you for making my middle school years so memorable and so entertaining. You were always so kind to me, even when you chucked a lawn chair at me and left a scar. The memories we all have together will forever be in my heart and I’m so blessed to have known you. The “tween club” will meet again someday.

Kyle, you were the most amazing friend and the absolute best friend I had freshman year. Those memories will forever stay in my heart. Thank you for all the laughs, thank you for always being there, and most importantly thank you for being the best. I will always love and miss you and you will forever have a special place in my heart. My favorite times with you is working together at the athens day care. Those kids definitely adored you and showed how much of an amazing person you were to this world. Thank you for being a light in this world. Can’t wait to see you again.

I’m so thankful I had the pleasure of having you as my neighbor throughout high school. You, Katie, Grayson, and Trevor welcomed us with open arms and I will always be so grateful for that. 
I’ll never forget when we founded the Tween Club in my backyard and carved all of our names into our swing set.

Kyle was one of the kindest people I have ever met . He was there for me through some of the toughest times of my life. Sophomore year of college wouldn’t have been complete without him. Kyle we love you. Uncle Keith and aunt Judy thought you were one of the most handsome , kind , funny guys around. Whenever you walked in the room it shined because of your beautiful smile.   Distance of living we did not get to spend a lot of time with you but whenever we were together it was always wonderful. We love you and Caden very much and will always love your parents , too. When I met you five years ago we became best friends instantly. You were the kind of person who would drop everything to help the people you love. With countless years of friendship, there was never a dull moment with you. Through Math class, Basement Parties, Pool days, you were always the life of the party. You never failed to make me laugh uncontrollably by just doing simple “Kyle” things. I will miss you more than words could ever say. It’s not “Goodbye” it’s “I’ll see you later”. Kyle, you were so loved by so many. I hope you know that. You had such a big heart and an unparalleled sense of humor and I don’t think anybody who met you was remiss of that. I’m so thankful for all the great memories we made growing up together because they’re truly some of my best. Riding bikes through the woods; playing manhunt around the neighborhood; climbing trees and falling out of them; always racing to see who was getting faster as we grew up; golf cart adventures; sledding down the hill in your backyard in winter (that one time grayson went through your back door was hilarious); ding dong ditching our poor neighbors; trying to see how far we could explore down the river at Poole’s mill; tubing on the lake and trying to push each other off of it; wiping out on our ripsticks trying to make it down the big hill in our neighborhood; getting into all sorts of trouble that we laughed about later on. Even as we got older and and hangouts shifted to pool days and Athens nights there was never a dull moment with you, Kyle. I’m so grateful to have known you in this life and I know we’ll see each other again someday to laugh about all the good times and the bad moments. You are one of my most cherished friends and always will be. 

Kyle, You welcomed me into your friend group with open arms and I will be forever grateful. You were my best friend and brought me so many great memories that I will cherish. To the Dawson forest days, riding dirt bikes around the woods, lake house parties, long night joy rides and neighborhood shenanigans. You were always there for me when I needed it whether it was hanging out or a long night call. Thank you for always finding a way to make me and all your friends happy. I will miss you so much. I will see you again soon brother.

Kyle Wilbur, you were the brother i never had but always wished for.  There was never a dull moment between us and our friend group. You were the life of the party and could make an entire room smile and laugh. I’m so glad we met years ago and made so many memories. I could never and will never forget the times we shared. Thank you for making my childhood and my life so happy and full of joy. I will see you again and we shall continue making our memories like we always did. Rest Easy Brother. Kyle, you were my favorite co-worker here at work. Everytime we were working together, we would always laugh and just have such a good time, and you would always help me whenever I needed it, and you never had to do that, you were just that kind of person. I’m glad that we got the chance to go and play basketball outside of work multiple times, and when we were on the same, we didn’t lose too often.  We have some inside jokes that some people wouldn’t get but I’m glad that we got cross paths. I’ll always be thinking about you my friend. I will see you again one day. - Tim Virgo

We are so deeply sad to learn of Kyle’s passing. Words cannot describe the sorrow our family is feeling. He was a wonderful young man who touched our lives more than he will ever know. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. 

My son Jack's life was touched and deeply impacted in positive way by his friendship with your sweet son,  Kyle.  We were heartbroken to learn of his passing.  Jack was lucky enough to spend Spring Break with Kyle a few weeks ago making memories.  Memories that Jack will now hold close to his heart. Kyle you will always be my best freind. I have never met a man as great as you, you’d give the shirt off your back for anyone like the one time you legitimately did. It just showed how caring you were for everyone. Kyle will forever have a place in my heart. He was an amazing friend whom I always enjoyed hanging out with.
