Laura was born in Cherrywood, New Jersey on March 7, 1963, the daughter of the late Donald Hallisy and the late Patricia Falesnik Hallisy. She graduated from Wheeler High School where she was a member of the marching band. She went on to graduate from the University of Georgia and the Atlanta Institute of Art.
She is survived by her brothers, Patrick Hallisy and Stephen Hallisy; and her nephew, Dylan Hallisy.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 12:00 pm at St. Michael the Archangel Church. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
