Lawrence "Larry" Perry

April 26, 1943 – August 11, 2026

Lawrence “Larry” Perry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. More than any title he carried, Larry was a man of God who loved his family deeply and spent his life showing it.

Larry wore many hats throughout his life — work hats, coaching hats, hunting hats, fishing hats, and, of course, a Braves hat. Known lovingly as a “gentle bear,” he was strong, protective, hardworking, and devoted to those he loved. He treasured his family, his many special friendships, making people laugh, country music, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.

His faith was central to his life. Larry served as a deacon, volunteered with his church food bank, and served on the church security team.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Gladys Perry; his brothers, Wayne and Jimmy Perry; and his beloved son, Patrick Perry.

He is survived by the absolute love of his life and wife of more than 55 years, Sandy Perry; his precious daughter, Marci (Joe) Morrow; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; his sister, Joanne (Dave) Lima; his brother-in-law, Toby (Lori) Langley; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Larry was blessed in the “dash” of his life, and those who loved him were even more blessed to share it with him.

Visitation and Funeral will be held August 29, 2026, at Real Life Christian Church in Woodstock, GA. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.
