Leon was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada to his parents, Arthur and Joan Easton Thorburn. He later met his wife Annette, and once married they moved to Toronto, Canada, where they would build their life and raise their family. In the early 90s, they began another chapter in life by moving to the Atlanta area of the USA.
Mr. Thorburn was a computer consultant and was one of three out of 300 people chosen to enter the field many years ago. He was a very intelligent and intellectual man. Leon enjoyed spending with his family, watching his grandchildren grow up, helping others (often putting others before himself), yard work, following politics, and stock trading. Leon was a hard worker and gave 100% in everything he did in life. His work ethic was always above and beyond. He was a Christian man, and instilled those values in his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
