Leroy Laurence Hudson

Mr. Hudson was a generous person with a strong work ethic. He was an intense family man and could be described as strong willed.

Mr. Hudson enjoyed playing sports including bowling, softball, and golf amongst others. He was a Chicago Cubs fan and had a life-long hobby of assembling model airplanes.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Woodstock and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus to the 6th degree.

Mr. Hudson is preceded in death by his wife, Anne Marie Bibby Hudson; brother, John Cave; and brother in law, Wallace Sessous. He is survived by his fiancé, Jean Parris of McDonough, Georgia; children, Timothy Michael Hudson and his wife, Nancy, of Antioch, Illinois, Garrett Lee Hudson and his wife, Marie Ellen, of Canton, Georgia, Mary Ruth Smith and her husband, James, of Gilbert, Arizona, Mark Thomas Hudson of Woodstock, Georgia, and Leanne Patrice Michaelsen and her husband, Eric, of Aurora, Illinois; sisters, Dawn Carnes and her husband, Gary, of Indianola, Iowa and Doreen Sessous of Buckeye, Arizona; six grandchildren, Michael, Neil, Garrett, Victoria, Melissa, and Jenna; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 5, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Woodstock Funeral Home in Woostock, Georgia. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Woodstock, GA.
