Mr. Leroy Shipman, 85, of Waleska, GA passed away March 28, 2017. Leroy was born on April 21, 1931 in Cleveland, TN. After graduating from high school, Leroy joined the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He received a bachelor’s degree from UGA and enjoyed fishing. Leroy is survived by his sons, Roy Shipman and Eddie Shipman (Sue) and grandchildren, Jason, Chris and Brittney. A graveside service will military honors will be Monday, April 3, 2017 at 10:00am at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. Please meet at Woodstock Funeral Home at 9:00am to process to the cemetery.
