Ligia Varela

Ligia Sanchez De Varela, nacio en Girardot Colombia, el 8 de Noviembre del 1929, Sus padres fueron Carmen Medina y Heliodoro Sanchez, de esa unin nacieron sus dos hermanos Alvaro y Gerardo con lo cuales compartio hasta los 24 aos, edad en la que contrajo matrimonio con Guillermo Varela, con quien vivio hasta el dia que el fallecio dejandola sola a cargo de sus hijos, Liliana, Claudia, Guillermo, Lucia y Juan.

Ligia quedo viuda a la edad de 46 aos y dedico su vida a educar y hacer de sus hijos personas de bien.

Siempre fue amante de la naturaleza, disfrutaba de las cosas simples, le gustaba escuchar el cantar de los pajaros, y admiraba el perfume y el color de las flores.

Fue una persona muy humana, caritatiba y servicial, tanto as que entre su familia era conocida " La cruz Roja" siempre estaba dispuesta a tender una mano.

Ligia Sanchez De Varela, was born in Girardot Colombia, on November 8, 1929, her parents were Carmen Medina and Heliodoro Sanchez, from that union were born her two brothers Alvaro and Gerardo with whom she shared until she was 24 years old, the age at which she married Guillermo Varela, with whom she lived until the day he died, leaving her alone in charge of her children, Liliana, Claudia, Guillermo, Lucia and Juan. Ligia became a widow at the age of 46 and she dedicated her life to educating and making her children good people. She was always a lover of nature, she enjoyed simple things, she liked to listen to the birds sing, and she admired the perfume and color of flowers. She was a very humane, charitable and helpful person, so much so that her family was known as "The Red Cross." She was always willing to lend a hand. We will miss her.
