

Lydia Mae Abernathy Butterworth, age 103, of Woodstock passed away January 11, 2013 after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Floyd Butterworth. She loved the Lord and was a long time member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on 2 P.M., Sunday, January 13, 2013 at New Bethel Baptist Church with Revs. Wayne Grier and Mike Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Woodstock Funeral Home, Saturday January 12, 2013 from 4-8 P.M.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elsie Tyson, daughter, Martha Butterworth, and grandson, Steven Butterworth.
She is survived by a son, Sylvanis Butterworth, Acworth; a daughter, Doris B. Nickelson, Woodstock; one daughter and son-in-law, Anne Dunn (Dave), Woodstock; son, Ronald Butterworth (Barbara), Acworth; son-in-law, Gene Tyson, Acworth; eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild.
She loved her family very much and felt blessed to see six generations. We will all miss her.
