Lynn Swindel loved the Lord with all her heart, her soul and her strengths. She also loved the people the same way. She was a sweat classy lady. She appreciated art and would enjoy talking about her pieces. I have great and wonderful memories of Lynn. She will continue to live in my heart.

So full of life and love you were.  Loved cutting up with you back in the day. Gene you were such a good sport putting up with all her shenanigans.  One of the thousands of reasons she adored you.  This is just break time for you.  For it will continue once you're home with her.  Lynn will never stop being Lynn.  She was adorable. We all wanted a piece of her.

Lynnie and I became friends when we were eight years old.   Our mothers were good friends and we grew up together, she was in our wedding, we raised children together and enjoyed our grandchildren together.  I have many, many funny memories of her but one stands  out    We were about 10 years old and riding the bus to her house when she said,  " Well, I thought daddy looked  pretty good today....." And went on to describe her visit to her father in the pennatenchary.  Of course her father was not in jail but she carried on a monalouge until all the nice ladies  on the bus were spellbound and dabbing their eyes with their hankerchiefs.   We didn't crack up until we got off the bus but she was always a clever wit.

What wonderful memories I have of Lynn.  One in particular.  It was a cold winter evening and several friends were gathered in her home.  A pending winter sleet storm had arrived while we were there.  So we were invited to stay & spend the night.  You can imagine a slumber party with Lynn Swindell was perfection!  We filled the crockpot with a beef roast, carrots, potatoes & onion.  We partied until the ice melted the following day!  Sad to know you are absent from among us.

Lynn was one of the most gifted humorists I have ever had the pleasure of representing - such a joy to know Lynn and to occasionally be her audience of one as she shared her stories - doubling over with l laughter.  Heaven is even merrier today with Lynn in residence.  My sincere condolences, Gene, and my continued prayers for you and your family in the days ahead.

We only met her once, Gene, but that was enough to know that she was a very special person and you were a very lucky man.  While we mourn with you we also rejoice knowing one day you will be with her again.  May God the  Father strengthen you  through His spirit with a power that reaches your innermost being!  ---Dave and Kaaren Ehlert

Loved her stories! Didn't know we shared the same birthday. We were in Chara Pneuma with Fritz, left in tears and full of joy whenever she shared! May the Lord do the same for your hearts now!

Lynn Swindell was one of the most special people I have ever known. She deeply influenced my spiritual life, and I grew up to be a pastor. Lynn was incredably funny and made us laugh as Chickie-boom.  Whwn my precious daughter was born, I cose Lynn and Gene to be het godparents. That was,a greay decision and many others also chose them as godparents. See you in heaven, Lynn. I know it will be,a place of laughter and joy with you there.  Love always, Tamlyn

I can hardly beloved you're gone. You were younger than us all.  I'm looking forward to seeing you again.  And I know I will.  We had a lot of fun at Bob and Linda Green's Bible study.   Unforgettable times.
