On May 12, 1979, she married the love of her life, Gene Swindell and spent 38 loving years together. Lynn was very strong in her Christian faith. The love she had for Christ showed in all aspects of her life.
In the 1980s, she had a weekly teenage/young adult ministry in her own home for a few years. Later in life, she enjoyed using her extra time to volunteer with friends at Roswell Nursing Home as a counselor. She was also very creative, which showed in her work as an interior decorator.
Lynn had a wonderful sense of humor and took that talent to a professional level as a Christian speaker. She loved to make people laugh and tell funny stories to see people smile. She was so proud of her children and held her family close to her heart. Lynn was also an avid art collector with treasured pieces from around the world.
She is preceded in death by her father, Scott Hudson; mother, Margaret Hudson and brother, Scott Hudson. She is survived by husband, Gene Swindell; sons, Robert Hudson Power; Greg (Robin) Swindell, and Tim Swindell; daughters, Marnie (Tim) Wilson and Melissa Swindell; brother, Bobby Hudson and sister Katie (Bob) Paullin.
