Malcolm Peter Kerr, age 76, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018.
Mr. Kerr was born to the late Stuart and Mary Kerr on November 15, 1942 in Washington D.C.
Mr. Kerr was very composed and a model conventional man. He loved his family more than anything and showed that love through his actions. He was an excellent provider, career oriented and incredibly focused. He worked as a banking vice president and ultimately retired as an executive vice president in the funeral industry. After retirement, he enjoyed driving a school bus for Fulton County.
Mr. Kerr enjoyed traveling in his motorhome with his family. They ventured throughout the U.S. and loved going to the beach. There were even times where the drive was the adventure as his family can lovingly attest to.
Mr. Kerr loved his family, his career and also animals. He regularly contributed to organization that supported animals such as the ASPCA and the Humane Society.
Mr. Kerr leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Jacqueline “Jackie” Kerr of Woodstock, Georgia; five children, Beth Bauer (Scott) of Sidney, Nebraska, Donna Hambek (Wayne) of Frisco, Texas, Jennifer McNeely (Scott) of Acworth, Georgia, Dave Kerr of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kristin Thompson (Roger) of Navarre, Florida; and five grandchildren, Jason White, Brianne White, Aaron Hambek, Cole Hambek and London McNeely.
No formal services will be held to honor Mr. Kerr’s wishes.
