She was born on March 16, 1931, in Buchanan, Georgia to Sinclair and Bernice Brown.
Marian was married to Braxton Barden for 67 years, a testament to their enduring partnership. Together, they raised four sons: Mark, Kerry, Danny, and John. Her family extended to 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply. Marian was lifelong member of the Methodist church.
Marian is now with God and her heavenly family.
