Mark David Allen was born on January 12, 1978 in Cleveland, Tennessee. Mark passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2026 at his home in Dallas, Geogia. Mark attended Etowah High School in Woodstock, Georgia. In early years, he owned his own residential flooring company and later in life found a passion for road construction. His work ethic and dedication to his job led him to be named Milling foreman at Blount Construction.
Mark enjoyed all things sports and outdoors. Fishing was his first love as a child, even winning trophies for his catches. He enjoyed basketball as a kid and continued playing even into adulthood. In middle school he developed the love for skateboarding (as most 90s teen boys did). This was a passion he still had to this day. Riding anything on two wheels and offroad was the rush he craved and also continued to do this until literally the day he died. He enjoyed camping on the lake with his wife and just sitting lakeside. If there was a Braves game, Falcons game, Stallions game or Nascar race he was able to go to, he was there, even attending Monday night football game the night he wed the love of his life. He loved music and every night was filled with music from The Doors to Morgan Wallen. He loved being a husband, father and PopPop and spending time with his family was his greatest love of all.
Mark is survived by his best friend, his wife Carol Finch Allen; his daughters Mayme Michelle Allen and Elizabeth Brianna Allen; his step daughter Ariel Noel Gonzalez (Luiz); Parents Larry and Joy Allen; Brothers Matthew Allen (Amanda) and John Allen (Megan); In-laws Billy and Donna Finch; sister-in-law Michelle Finch Thomas (Roderick); Nephews Gavin Stroud, Ryder Allen, Ace Allen; Niece Abigail Stroud. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were like family. Mark was proceed in death by his Grandfather James Galloway and Grandmother Carrie Galloway.
