Mark Booth Brazeal, born February 23, 1957, was surrounded by family in his last days. At the age of 68, his passing on October 7, 2025, was premature. Mark lived a private life and was a loved uncle and brother. He was at all family gatherings and took a significant role in every family event – births, birthdays, holidays, weddings, funerals. He enjoyed his time with family and friends, and, as a young man, he was a great older brother who would do things like take younger siblings camping. A fond memory is being caught in the rain on a bike ride in the mountains and making the best of it by taking advantage of the Dillard House and its lodging and food offerings.
Mark is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Dale and Nancy Brazeal; his mother and stepfather, Ann and George Dexheimer; his brother, Mike Brazeal.
He is survived by his brother Matt Brazeal and family - Emily, Patrick, and Kathryn; his stepbrother Craig Royer and son - Christian; his sister-in-law Cathy Brazeal and children - Ashley, Nicholas, and Peter.
Mark was fun to talk with and always there when needed. He loved his home in Woodstock, GA, and his long career at Home Depot was often the topic at many family gatherings. Mark will be greatly missed by his family. In lieu of flowers, in Mark’s honor, please consider a gift to the Wellstar Foundation through the link below.
