

Mary was born in Buffalo, New York to Octavio Mario Sagliani and Dolores (Mackey) Sagliani and is survived by her husband of 33 years, Thomas Fruman, and their son, Don William Fruman and his fiancée, Joyce Li, and Mary’s three sisters, Anne Smith and her family, Teresa Sykes and her family, and Gemma Cavanough and her family, and Mary’s five brothers, Joseph Sagliani and his family, Andrew Sagliani, Francis Sagliani, Anthony Sagliani and his family, and Michael Sagliani and his family.
Mary was a legal secretary in Atlanta for over 40 years working for some of the most prestigious law firms and partners in Atlanta. Known for her work ethic and intelligence in her endeavors, Mary worked tirelessly, always looking for new and better ways to deliver what her clients needed. The words of her colleagues and friends that best describe her are “organized”, “detailed”, “cheerful”, “positive”, “dedicated” and “fierce”. She was loving and kind to those in need, always willing to help a friend.
Her spare time was filled with her artistic side and over the years she painted with oils, acrylics, pastels, and charcoal, she knitted, crocheted, and did needlepoint, she spent many years doing ceramics and loved to garden and cook. She was an avid dog-lover having kept a variety over the years, including Afghans, American Eskimo Spitz, Chihuahuas and a Newfoundland. She could accurately spot and name a breed at a distance at any point in time.
Mary, a life-long catholic attended Transfiguration Church and St. Michaels Church, at various times over the years. She has been a resident of Woodstock, GA for 40 years.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on June 8, 2017 at the Woodstock Funeral Home of Woodstock, GA, with a burial at Honey Creek Woodlands at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit at 3:00 PM on June 9, 2017 (please wear comfortable clothing to the cemetery).
