Mary Jo Lowry

Mary Jo Lowry, age 82, of Georgia, passed away on May 6, 2017. Mrs. Lowry had married William Lowry at the young age of 19 and enjoyed focusing on being a homemaker and raising her six children, Debbie, Sandy, Phyllis, Karen, Kenneth, and Christine. She remained family oriented and being an active part of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives. She will truly be missed by her loving family. Mrs. Lowry is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Bernard Lowry; parents, J.K. and Halloween Williams; and brother, Arthur Ray Williams. Survivors include her children, Debbie Lowry and her husband, Bobby, of Kennesaw, GA, Sandy Lowry of West Palm Beach, FL, Phyllis Arzola of Phoenix, AZ, Karen Broxson and her husband, John, of Marietta, GA, Kenneth Lowry and his wife, Julie, of Phoenix, AZ, Christine Weisbarth and her husband, Steve, of Marietta, GA; brothers, Horace Williams of Talbotton, GA and Wayne Williams of Jonesboro, GA; grandchildren, Sommer, Robert, Courtney, Kaylee, Daniel, Britne, Anthony, Alexandria, Natasha, Matthew, Tyler, Kristin, Ashley, Joshua, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Jared, Brianna, Emmanuel, Allie, Isaac, Kaylyn, Paytyn and Jordan Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Services will be held at a later date.
