Mary Catherine Wagner

Mary Catherine Ferrier Wagner, of Woodstock, GA, was born to Seward Blaine Ferrier and Lila Mae Rager Ferrier on November 4, 1947 in Commodore, PA. She passed at Northside Cherokee Hospital on March 6, 2026 surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her two daughters Wendy Kesler (Robert) of Silver Creek, GA and Melissa McVey (Samuel) of Ellijay, GA. Four grandchildren Thomas Kesler, Kyra Hernandez (Jean Carlo), Levi McVey, and Alexander McVey. Her great granddaughter Amber Hernandez. Her beloved dog Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Bernard Wayne Wagner, her parents, 3 brothers, Amos Ferrier, Carlyle "Joe" Ferrier, Walter Ferrier and 2 sisters, Daisy Prugh and Helen Ewing.

Mary loved to travel with her husband and family, seeing all 50 of the United States. She loved reading, going to estate sales, helping others and taking care of stray cats, deer and birds outside her house in Woodstock, Ga.

She has asked us all to continue her ministry of helping others out by giving someone in need some extra money when able.

Mary will be interred at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, joining her husband.
