MaryAnn Descovich-Hoynes, age 89, of Canton, Georgia died May 15, 2026 at home. MaryAnn was born July 24, 1936 in New York to William and Anastasia Descovich. She had two brothers, Joseph Descovich and Peter Descovich. She worked in Security for many years, which was a great love of hers. She was married to Robert Hoynes, a marriage lasting 54 years, until Robert's passing in 2010. They had six children together, Jeanne, Susan, Kathy, Donna, Bob and Micki. She was the proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 6 greatchildren. Funeral arrangements will be held at Poole Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Woodstock, Ga.
