To Patti, Brooke, and Chris, Mike was a special friend that I got to know back in 2012 while working at the State Farm account.  He kept that account running like a sewing machine.  Whenever I needed something or just wanted to run something by him, he was always willing to help and sometimes give me a hard time, jokingly!  Several years ago, I will never forget meeting him at the I-20 Georgia welcome center at 4:00 am to get some tools at which time we took some time to catch up before I drove back to Alabama and he back to State Farm.  I know you miss him and so do I.  My prayers and thoughts are with you and yours.

I personally did not know Mike directly, but only a little through working with his brother Mark for 20+ years ... Mark's love for his family is apparent and abundant. The heartbreak and emptiness which now remains only speaks to how much Mike was a positive influence on people in this world. Heaven just got a little more full and will have a good and faithful servant in Mike. God bless the family with peace to sustain you through the journey ahead, with the knowledge and grace that God will be walking with you, as well as with wonderful and bountiful memories to keep Mike's spirit alive so as to be reflected in your daily lives.

My heart is broken for you Patti, Brooke and Chris.  I pray God's PEACE will sustain you through this most unwanted time.  Please know you will remain in my prayers.  I will add that after reading through some of the notes below, I am really sorry I never got to know your husband / dad.  Seems like it would have been a joy to have been someone I could call a friend.

Mike is special to everyone who had the chance to work with him. His smile, his joking, his honesty was well known and appreciated by all. As a sales person working with Mike over the years at BellSouth and AT&T, he led several very successful installations, I'd show up in jeans, offering to help and Mike always seemed to find the jobs I might struggle with. One time, he had me try to put a 3 inch power cord into a 2 inch hole at the bottom of a printer, two inches off the ground. I got down and worked for at least 30 minutes, while he continued to install other printers. I was not close to successful. I thought I could hear him chuckle in the background 20 minutes into my efforts, but I was sure he was not laughing at me. 35 minutes into this,  he came over and asked how I was doing? Sweating like crazy, I told him I was doing well. Mike told me to get up, and he would do it. Dang, if it took him 15 seconds to install, he got up, grinned at me, then I heard the chuckling for sure. Later that year we had a Christmas party with BellSouth and Mike. I was handing out gifts and gave one to Mike. I told him the pics represented his two favorite people in the world. When he opened it up there was a picture of myself and James Robertson, an IBM SE. He chuckled and said thanks but nope, not his two favorites. The next day I saw him again and it had pictures of his two favorite people in the world, you Patti and Brooke. This was before you were born Christopher. When he moved over to State Farm, I asked him not to go, as he was needed at BellSouth. Mike looked at me and said Kevin, this is best for my family, he always was like that and respected because of his love for you all.Too may stories to tell - Mike will be sorely missed - God bless you all

A day in the life at work. Never far from home.

Mike touched more lives than anyone will ever know.  His smile, his humor and mostly his firm stand on what was right, made us all better. When working beside Mike you learned not just from what he said, but from what he did. Those are lessons I will never forget. He will be missed.  I pray God's grace over the family and peace to every grieving heart.

Patti, Brook & Christopher, I am so very so for the lost of your husband and Dad. He was a wonderful man. I am praying for comfort and peace for you all!!!🙏🙏♥️

Dear Patti and Family,  It has been many years since I worked with Mike at IBM and Printing Systems, but I was lucky to have been able to know him and work with him for many years. Rhonda and I will have you and your family in our thoughts and prayer.

Mike you were a good friend for more years than I can count. I will miss you greatly. I pray that God blesses you family as you watch over them from the Pearly Gates

Dear Patty, Brooke, Christopher, Joan, Mark, Eric, Douglas and families,
It's so hard to accept the loss of our loved ones, but in time we will understand that it is all in God's plan.  His plan is for our good and not to hurt us.  We must hang onto our Faith and the words of Jesus that we will all be reunited, never to be separated again.  I am blessed to have known Michael and are left with wonderful memories of him and all the Breindl family.  We shared many happy times, especially at the holidays when we all gathered together at Joan and Kurt's home where there was much laughter and joy.  Your family chain has been broken with the passing of Mildred, Kurt, and Michael, but each link will be reconnected in eternity as we await the best family reunion ever.  Until then, be at peace as they are and want the same for you.   You are all in my thoughts and prayers.   God bless you all!
