It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael George Stocker, and his beloved wife, Marilyn Kay Jordan Stocker, who passed away peacefully just days apart. Marilyn died on November 27, 2025, and Michael followed her on December 1, 2025.
Michael, born on July 6, 1941, in Mount Vernon, Indiana was known for his passion for Jesus, serving in the Catholic Church, the Pro-Life Airplanes (his favorite B52s) flying, and navigation. He loved his wife, family, grandchildren, animals, reading, and Kentucky Basketball. He was a Captain in the USAF, and a navigator on B52's, he served in Vietnam. Michael was a humble man, he never had an enemy, loved everyone, and never had a bad word to say about anyone on this Earth. He was the best hug giver, and storyteller.
Marilyn, born on November 6, 1941, in Olney, Illinois was known for her passion for Jesus, serving in the Catholic Church, Nursing, Pro-Life Ministry, and making homemade cards for those she loved, and birthday cards for inmates of a prison in Kentucky. She loved her husband, daughters, grandchildren, her animals, and Kentucky Basketball. Those who knew her will remember her for her generous heart, her thoughtful spirit, her spiciness and her ability to make everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. She found great joy in spending time with family and friends she cherished the most.
Michael went to high school at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology with hopes to pursue the priesthood, and mom had attended high school at St. Benedicts in Ferdinand, Indiana with hopes of becoming a nun. However, God had other plans, mom and dad met on a blind date, and the rest was history!! With dad serving in the Air Force, being a Navigator-Bombardier on B52's, getting a Doctorate in education, and mom a Registered Nurse, they married on April 24, 1965, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in St. Francisville, Illinois, and built a beautiful life together.
They are both preceded in death by their infant son, Brian Stocker who passed shortly before birth.
In addition to his wife just days before, Michael is preceded in death by his parents, William and Jane Stocker, his brothers Paul Stocker, Bill Stocker, and sister, Mary Tooley. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents John and Berniece Jordan, and infant brothers, James Richard and Richard Joseph Jordan.

Their legacy is one of unwavering love and dedication to family. Though they will both be deeply missed, their legacy continues in the hearts and hands of those they touched.
