Michael Joseph Kowalczyk

Michael Joseph Kowalczyk, born on June 24, 1963, passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 62. Michael was a kind, funny, smart and loving Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He never took things too seriously and always loved a good laugh, when he was around, it was always a good time. He loved his Family and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Mike loved to reminisce about growing up in Yonkers, the days working on hot rods when we first arrived in Georgia and catching up on everyone’s lives. He was a prankster that would joke around about everything.

He was born in Yonkers, NY and graduated from Gorton High School in 1981. He worked as a mechanic for many years and made an amazing group of lifelong friends, some he will see again in heaven.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Michael J. Kowalczyk Sr. and Mike's memory will be cherished by his loving mother, Dorothy Kowalczyk of Kennesaw, Georgia; sister, Doreen Wanco (spouse Paul Holder) of Cartersville, Georgia; brother Jim Kowalczyk (spouse Christine) of Dallas, Georgia; nieces, Nicole Keenan, Shannon Williams and Isabella Kowalczyk; great nieces and nephews, Easton Keenan, Chloe Williams, Everette Keenan; and Hudson Williams along with many extended family members and wonderful friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc., located at 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA, 30188, United States. The service is scheduled for November 9, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
