Michael Scott Manning, 66, passed away on September 04, 2026 after a 4 month battle with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer surrounded by his loved ones at home. He lived his life with purpose, passion and an unmistakable kindness to everyone he met while leaving behind a legacy of love leadership and so many treasured memories.
As the founder and owner of Cypress Business Solutions, LLC (1991 - present) and Barcode Warehouse (2004 - sold in 2024) - Michael was always more than just a business owner, he was a mentor and a person who poured his heart into his work building successful businesses grounded in honesty, innovation and a genuine care for his employees and customers. His work ethic was admirable, but his true motivation was always providing for those he loved.
At home Michael was the anchor of his family. He married the love of his life, Carrie, on August 31, 1991 and together they built a home filled with love, strength and unwavering support. To his daughters, Carly, Caroline, and Caitlin, he was a hero, a pillar of strength, and a constant reminder to work hard, stay humble and love big.
Whether he was golfing on weekends, watching Sunday football with the guys, seeing the Eagles in concert (many times…) or heading to casinos to “build towers” with the girls, he brought energy and joy to each moment.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on September 15, 2026 at 3:00pm
Woodstock City Church
150 Ridgewalk Pkwy
Woodstock, GA 30188
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network: PanCan.org
