We are so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We have many fond memories of our holidays and camping trips together.  We will keep you all in his thoughts and prayers.  ❤️

Mule, from the day we met our time together has been one adventure after another.  Our motorcycle rides, football games, Oreo ice cream  parties.  The laughter you and Drew shared and the friendship y’all had was such an incredible thing.  You were such an important part of my life, not just a friend but someone I am proud to call my brother.  You will forever be missed.  We love you Mule!!

Michael was a man of many talents. I remember an important wrestling tournament where his calculation & savvy captivated the audience. Supporters from the rival team were congratulating him. He left the world two lovely daughters.  My heart aches for the family & friends he left behind.

I met Mike walking his dog Mike, the German shepherd pictured in the post below by our daughter, Kyla Coody with my dog Buster. That sense of humor got my attention! He blessed me with two beautiful daughters, Kyla and Kelsea, for that, I am truly grateful. I am happy you had a life surrounded by friends and a wife who I’m sure got to enjoy your sense of humor! One of my favorite memories with my dad would be when he’d take my sister and I in his tiny grey pickup and FLY over railroad tracks. It was so much fun to knock around in the backseat and we’d all be laughing like crazy people. This is something I now do with my son and it brings a rush of those happy memories back.

Mike was never one to back down from a challenge.  While he demonstrated toughness outwardly, inside, he was as sensitive as they come.   As we aged we were able to re-connect and truly talk about what he considered success and what he came to find about being happy.  Kathy, his girls, dogs, and motorcycle were all important elements in his life.  His rides and commitment to helping others navigate a path toward a better future were clearly driving forces in his life.  Very proud to call him my brother.

We’re so sorry. He left a legacy of two beautiful daughters.
