Michael Jay Richardson Michael Jay Richardson, age 72, of Roswell, GA passed away Friday, November 6, 2020. He was born on November 12, 1947 in Franklin, Indiana to the late Kenneth and Freda Richardson. Michael graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne in 1970. After graduating, he honorably served in the United States Army from 1971 until 1975. Michael married Sherry Peet in 1975, and they had two children, Anthony and Carrie. After his military service, Michael worked in information technology until his retirement in 2006. After retiring, Michael spent most of his life reading, writing and visiting family. He loved sailing, cooking and classic films. Michael enjoyed spending time with his wife Sherry and his friends. He attended Bridge to Grace Church in Roswell, GA.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, his mother, Freda, and his brother Dennis (Annette). He is survived by his wife, Sherry, his two children, Anthony (Lacie), Carrie (Logan), his grandchildren Karson, Brooklyn, Declan, Colton, Cohen, and Avery, great grandson Kenny, his brother Nick (Connie), and his sister Sally (Andrew) and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
