Mollie Sue Cline

Mollie “Sue” Cline, age 92 of Woodstock, GA, formerly of Columbus, GA, died on October 24, 2021. A visitation will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 2:50 pm; the celebration of Sue’s life will follow at 3:00 pm. Interment will be in Parkhill Cemetery.

Sue was born in Pike County, Alabama on April 4, 1929; the daughter of Marvin Davis and Mary Fleming Davis.

Sue graduated from Central High School in Phenix City, AL. She worked at Tom Houston’s for 2 years before meeting Hooper Cline. Sr, they were married on December 24, 1947. Sue was a member of Midway Methodist Church for many years, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, canning, and fishing. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Hooper; and her parents, Marvin and Mary; and her sister, Marie Mock.

Survivors include: her children, John Cline, Jr., Vickie (Carl) Kirkland, David Cline, Donna (Richard) Cline Kirkland; grandchildren, Mollie (Paul) Hoffman, Kristen (Jonathan) Kasych, Christopher (Dana) Kirkland, Abigail (Josh) Kirkland; great grandchildren, Johnathan, Callie, Keigan, Carolyn, Pierce, and Luke.
