Mona E Rose

Mona Elaine Rose (Renfroe), 90, died April 14, 2026 at Camellia Place in Woodstock, Georgia. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dale Rose Jr. (Beth) and Janine Nielsen (Carl), her grandchildren and their spouses, Adam Rose (Amanda), Rose Zerof (Dylan), Trey Nielsen and Annabelle Rose. Her children’s in-laws, Linda and Ralph Sneed and Dennis and the late Patty Nielsen were also a significant part of Mona’s life. Mona was the daughter of the late James Olis Renfroe and the late Lucille Isbell of Rome, Georgia. Mona is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years; Dale Rose Sr., her 4 siblings, 3 step-siblings and step-mother, Elsie Dunlap Renfroe. Mona met and married her late husband at the Grand Bahama Hotel at West End where they were both employed. The two also resided in Florida; Cleveland, Tennessee and White, Georgia. Mona was employed as a legal secretary at Bell & Associates in Cleveland, Tennessee in the 80’s and 90’s. Mona was an amazing cook, seamstress, animal-lover and example. She loved making events special and hosted an annual birthday talent show to showcase the family talent. To know Mona was to love Mona. Mona will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation is Wednesday, May 6th, 11am-12pm at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, Georgia followed by burial at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
