Muriel J. Head

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta with Poole Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Head was born July 7, 1944, at Crawford W. Long Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Walter Ellis and Ruby Mae Bradley James. Mrs. Head attended Sylvan Hills High School in Atlanta. Muriel worked as a Closing secretary for the law firm of Hudnall & Cohn. Mrs. Head was affectionately known as "Mimi" by her 9 grandchildren. She was also a devoted Georgia Bulldog fan.

Mrs. Head was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd William Head, Jr. in August 2016.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Head and wife Kelly, Woodstock, GA; their three children, Taylor, Kayla, and Kyleigh Head, all of Woodstock; daughter, Jacqueline Beasley and her husband David, Woodstock, GA; their children, Sydney, Jake, and Jonathan Beasley, all of Woodstock; son, Robert Head and his wife Angela, Woodstock, GA; their children, Dylan, Cooper, and Ava Head, all of Woodstock, GA.
