Nathan was one of a kind in every way and was loved by many. He was a great brother and a wonderful uncle to my son as well. He meant so much to his family and friends which is evident in the outpouring of condolences I have received. Thank you for the letters, cards, and prayers for my family during this difficult time. More importantly thank you for loving Nathan.

My thoughts & prayers are with the Casey's and all close friends. I have many fond memories of us all since the fourth grade. We all had such fun conquering life together. Most vividly I recall Nate with green hair at one of my childhood birthday parties:) He was the leader of the pack even then.

It was obvious that he loved you very much.  He did excellent work!  His craftsmanship is all around us, but his greatest legacy is the devotion to his family and friends, particularly to his T-Bear.  Trevor always said that his Uncle Nate was the coolest person in the world and he wanted to be just like Uncle Nate. Uncle Nate was my best friend basically. We hung out a lot and were always joking around with each other. I was so distraught when I found out he had died. He was a big part of my childhood which I am still living. I will always remember him.

I am heartbroken for all of you.  Nathan had such a tremendous presence.  He touched everyone who knew him with his sense of humor and general hilariousness. I have great memories of Nate--in Chemistry class most notably, and in other shennanigans. I will treasure them always.  I wish I could be there to pay my respects. Nathan was one of those people who left you with so many great memories. i have talked to so many people and they all have said if you needed a good laugh he was the guy and he could tell a story.

Nathan was a wonderful childhood friend.  I remember riding the bus to Johnston with Mrs. Bugg as the driver, S.C.R.A, playing video games, playing tackle football in the neighbor's yard with the Brand, Reed, and Gardner boys. Most of all I remember his sense of humor and ability to make everything fun.  What a great guy.  He will be missed dearly.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Casey family and close friends.

I never got to know you that well but you were always friendly and had a great sense of humor. I'm sure it goes without saying, the world has lost a good soul, your friends and family can attest to that. Safe travels man. Maybe we'll run into each other again sometime.

Nathan will always be in my early childhood memories. From preschool with Mrs. Drummond through the Johnston years. The SCRA basketball & baseball games, the pick-up tackle football games with Ben Reed, Michael Brand, David Gardner...Nathan was always a sweet and funny guy, and even though I haven't seen him in 20 years, my heart is still heavy today. Heartfelt condolences to the Casey Family. I know his passing will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Nathan was a wonderful man with the most beautiful heart. He was the "go to man" for so many of us. I miss his pressence in this world, I'm sure we always will. Connie, Richie, Eric, Leanne, and T-Bear, I love you all so much and I will be keeping you in my prayers.

Nathan was such a great guy. His friends leaned on him for laughter and for help quite often- what more can you ask of a friend? Nathan was "that guy" for my sister's family. They relied on him for so much through the years and he was always there and made them laugh too. He will be sorely missed for a very long time by so many.
