A Prayer For Nikolai
-by Quasia McDuffie
As I pray for you, I pray for us all. Father God, I come to you as humble as I know how. I ask that you cover us with your unconditional love through this trying time. We know that your word will never forsake us nor put more on us than we can bear. We are in the midst of a test, a test of our faith and leaning on you and not to our own understanding. Lord, when the going gets tough, we ask that you provide us the everlasting memories of the times of laughter, love and just the presence of our charming Nikolai. Father God, allow my Uncle to weep for his torn. But let him find comfort and peace to make it through this day's journey. Let him know that we are one and that will always stand true. Lord, if we haven't said it enough, we come to say thank you. Thank you for all you've done and will do. One day along this journey, we will hurt no more knowing that Niko has made it to your loving arms. We will get him to the light and he will then see that paradise was where he is healed, restored and found new. Let us rest in knowing our guardian angel is upon us forever-more and we are strong enough to carry on. In your loving and holy name I pray. Amen.
