Oluwatobi Michael Awe
January 27, 1990 – February 24, 2012
Oluwatobi Michael Awe of 49 Boulevard SE Atlanta, Georgia passed away February 24, 2012. Tobi, as he was known to his friends, was born January 27, 1990 in Lagos, Nigeria. Tobi was preceded in death by his mother Abiola Awe. He is survived by his father, Kehinde Timothy Awe of Nigeria, siblings, Tolulope, Temitope, Tomiwa, David, Kehinde and Taiwo Awe, grandmother Bisi Gaji and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Tobi was a very ambitious young man and had worked very hard and achieved many things in his short life. He had many friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. There was a lot of things Tobi enjoyed, some of his hobbies were drawing, writing, video games and riding motorcycles. He attended Christ Apostolic Church City on the Hill and Redeem. Tobi attended Corona Elementary School, Ardgon Middle School and was a graduate of Sequoyah High School. Soon after high school Tobi joined the Army National Guard where he served from October 10, 2009 until May 15, 2011. He then joined the Atlanta Police Department and served there until his death. May His Soul Rest In Peace. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1:30pm from the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a viewing from 11:30am until 1:30pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Acworth, Georgia.

I remember the first day I met you and couldn't ignore the kind and warm spirit within you. I knew from that day on that you could be someone I could confide to if I ever needed to talk to you abut something. You always had a loving heart and a beautiful mind and soul. Tobi Tobi what can I say. All I can say that may God be with your family and may we all stay strong and I pray we all see all the good things Tobi was to us.
