

Patricia Harris Perez (Pat and Patsy to her family and friends) was born on Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland. Pat passed away on January 22, 2026 in Woodstock, Georgia, where they lived for the past 5 years.
After moving to Tampa, Florida she attended Christ the King Catholic School and the Academy of the Holy Names (Class of 1959). On June 13, 1964 Pat married Edward (Ed) Perez and moved to Norfolk, Virginia where he was stationed in the U. S. Navy. This was the start of their beautiful 62 year marriage.
Patricia was a devoted wife and mother to her five children. Her husband and children were her pride, joy and her love which knew no bounds. Her family and friends knew her as compassionate, outgoing, friendly and a spirited personality. At age 56, after raising her children, Pat earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of South Florida. After graduation she worked for the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa for ten years until her retirement at age 65.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents William P. Harris, Sr and Mary Harris, brothers Williams P. Harris, Jr. and Richard Harris, sister Theresa Pitisci (Vince), and her beloved grand-dog Bren. She is survived by her husband Edward (Ed) Perez, her five children Eddie Perez (Rebekah), Kathleen Marshall (Jeff), Maureen Perez, Colleen Perez and Eileen Perez, grandsons James Perez, Joseph Perez, Bryce Freeman and Christian Vernau, sisters in law Benedicta Harris and Joyce Williams, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and grand-dog Willow.
