Patricia Ann Tomsey

Patricia A Tomsey, 81, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025 in Woodstock Georgia. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Born on October 24th, 1943, in Newark, NJ, Pat dedicated her life to creating and supporting a warm, nurturing home for her husband Bob of 52 years, and their two children.

A viewing service will be held at the Woodstock Funeral Home on Monday, March 17th from 5-8pm. There will be an 11a.m. mass at St. Michael the Archangel in Woodstock, GA. The interment will be Thursday at the Veterans Memorial Park in Canton GA. There she will be placed with her beloved husband Bob.

Pat grew up and attended high school in Newark, NJ. She went on to be a successful office Manager for a well-respected Law Firm. Pat and Bob moved to Lake Hiawatha, NJ then retired to Woodstock, GA to be near her children and grandchildren.

Pat’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her warm presence and caring nature left an undeniable mark on all who knew her. Pat's love for her family was unparalleled and she often expressed this through the time she spent with them, the care she provided and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. Pat's kindness and family gatherings were legendary in the neighborhood, and her holiday gatherings were eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike. To know Pat was to know how proud she was of her family and her face would especially light up as she spoke of her grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Her departure comes as a great shock to many and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc., 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 490 Arnold Mill Rd, Woodstock, GA 30188. A graveside service will occur Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Georgia National Cemetery -Canton GA, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114.
