Paul had a heart of gold. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
He met his beloved wife, Justina, in Alabama, and they got married in 1998. They welcomed two daughters, Morgan in 1999 and Jaden in 2001, and their son, Jackson, in 2010. And, the family would often joke, Paul’s two other children were their cherished dog, Jade and new addition Khaleesi.
Paul was excellent at his job, and he was in the septic tank business for over 20 years. Paul spent time outdoors, and he enjoyed planting trees at his home in Kennesaw, GA. He loved exploring new areas, and Florida was one of his favorite places to visit. Paul enjoyed listening to music and watching British TV shows; “Keep up with Appearances” and “As Time Goes By” are two of his favorites.
Paul prided himself as the protector of his family. He always made sure his loved ones were safe. He told us to always have a flashlight. As a family, we often shared good times over meals; Paul’s favorite was fried chicken and coleslaw, shrimp summer rolls, and anything from Arby’s. Paul was a kind and sentimental man who cared very much. He was a gentle soul who is gone too soon. Everyone will miss Paul’s generous spirit and infectious laugh. Not a day will go by when we don’t think about Paul.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Beverley and “Doug” Richards.
He is survived by his wife Justina, his children, Morgan, Jaden, and Jackson, his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Mary; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Stephanie and John; his niece Sierra, his nephew AJ, his cousin Michelle, who was like a sister to Paul, and several family members and friends.
