She was born on January 24, 1948, in Robbinsville, North Carolina to the late William Oliver Stratton Jr. and Hazel Lee Stratton (Anderson). She was a devoted mother, aunt and sister to her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Georgia where she worked in the prayer room and sewing group for a number of years. She loved God and always lived to help others know Jesus Christ.
Peggy was precede in death by her parents W.O. and Hazel Stratton; and brother, Steve.
She is survived by her son Paul David Casey of Woodstock and nephews Chris Stratton who is stationed in South Korea and Shawn Stratton
