

Born on June 27, 1981, in White Plains, New York, Phillip spent most of his life in Georgia, where he grew up and attended Sprayberry High School. Following his passion for the culinary arts, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University. Phillip went on to enjoy a vibrant and successful career in the food and hospitality industry, working with notable establishments such as 103 West Restaurant and Catering, Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings, and most recently as the General Manager at the Nordstrom Bistro Café.
A devoted family man and a true life of the party, Phillip was known for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and vibrant personality. He was the comic relief, the caretaker, the peacemaker—someone who loved deeply and brought people together. He lived life fully, traveling whenever he could, and giving his all to those around him.
Phillip's impact reached beyond his professional achievements. His dedication, leadership, and kindness touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Leslie.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ashley Desiree Lowe; his cherished sons, Kaiden James and Knox Emmanuel Saunders; his loving mother, Andrea Harrison, and her husband Ian; his brother, Timothy Leslie Hype; his sister, LaShawnda Leslie-Butler; stepbrother, Roderick Harrison; his godmother, Jackie Hayes; aunts, Arlene McGann, Suzette Morgan-Connor, Carol Robinson, and Kelly Wilbur; uncle, Kenneth Wilbur; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rima and Jerome Philip; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, grandaunts, granduncles, and many dear friends.
A service for Phillip will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia. Repast will follow.
Phillip’s legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
