Reed M. Stephens, age 93, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died Friday, August 11, 2017. Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Woodstock Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Somers officiating. Burial will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Reed was a WWII Veteran who served at Peleliu in the South Philippines and Western Pacific. He worked as a machinist and mold maker for Ferriot Brothers, Inc. for 47 years and was a 50 year member of the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls where he resided for 65 years. Survivors include daughter, Kathleen (Bob) Badger of Marietta, Georgia; son, Allan (Margret) Stephens of Bluffton, South Carolina; grandchildren, Allison Dawson, Holley Badger, Robby Badger and Mark Stephens; and great grandchildren, Kennedy, Reece, Zack, Kayla and Madison. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home.
