Richard Boyd III

Mr. Richard "Rick" Boyd lll, age 63 of Woodstock, retired from this life early Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Mr. Boyd was born in Hampton, VA to his parents Richard and Beatrice McHenry Boyd who took him around the world courtesy of the US Air Force. Rick worked for Lockheed Martin as an Aircraft Technical Writer. Rick loved building model airplanes, playing the drums, and was known by many as "P47 dude". Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Beatrice Boyd and brother-in-law Calvin Dimsha. Remaining family include his loving wife Becky Boyd, his sons Richard, Joshua, and Aaron, as well as his sisters Donna Dimsha and Diane English. The service to celebrate the life of Mr. Boyd will be Monday March 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel with Brother Larry Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation from noon until the service.
