Richard "Dick" Brown

Mr. Richard B. Brown, 71, of Woodstock, GA passed away May 9, 2016. Dick was born on May 10, 1944 in Freemont, OH. After graduating from St. Joseph’s High School, Dick joined the US Air Force and honorably served during the Vietnam War. He retired from Hewlett-Packard. Dick was always cracking jokes and received enjoyment from other people’s laughter. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Dick truly had a heart of gold and will be immensely missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Brown. Dick leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Chris Brown, sons, David Brown (Carrie Beth) and Jeremy Brown (Sherry), daughter, Sarah Cunningham (Chris), grandchildren, Gretyl, Keenan and Kyle Cunningham, mother, Rose Ann Brown and sister, Debbie Eberly. A prayer service will be on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2:00pm at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188. There will be a reception following the service.
