Dick lived a life marked by love, faith, and connection. He was married to his wife, Nancy Lee, for 58 wonderful years. Their story began on a blind date — a meeting that turned into a lifetime partnership filled with devotion, laughter, and shared memories. Together, they built a strong and loving family that became the center of his world.
He was the proud father of three daughters, Kelle Lee, Kristi (Chris) Fain, and Katie (Paul), Frazier, and the beloved Pop-Pop of seven grandchildren, Ethan Fain, Cameron Fain, Zachary Fain, Spencer Fain, Savanna Fain, Ava Frazier and Emme Frazier. Family meant everything to him. He showed his love not only through words, but through presence, loyalty, and the way he invested in each of their lives.
Dick had a remarkable gift as a storyteller. When he shared a story, he didn't leave out the details - every moment, expression, and small memory were included. His stories made you feel as if you were there experiencing it alongside him. He had a way of bringing people into the moment, turning simple memories into vivid experiences. Listening to him wasn't just hearing a story; it was living it.
He was a man who never met a stranger. Social, confident, and passionate, he had a commanding presence that drew people in. He loved meaningful conversation and connection, and he valued the relationships in his life deeply.
Above all, Dick walked in faith. He believed in God and lived his life guided by that belief.
His faith shaped the way he loved others, the way he treated people, and the strength he carried through life's challenges. It was a quiet foundation that supported everything he did.
Dick leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, storytelling, laughter, and family. His presence will continue to be felt in the memories he created, the traditions he started, and the stories that will be told for generations to come.
A memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Church, 12900 Arnold Mill Road Roswell, GA 30075 on June 13, 2026, at 2p.m. with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that those who wish to honor Dick's legacy, that donations be made to Ebenezer Church or Big Dog Rescue Ranch using the link below.
